Injury Trial Lawyers are like public watchdogs for the community. We represent people who have been injured due to the unsafe choice of another. We uphold the community safety rules, because without them, no one is safe. We ask the jury, the people of the community, to enforce these safety rules, and hold them to be important each and every time. Not just some of the time, because without safety rules, a community cannot survive.
In a nutshell, that is what I do each and every work day. I take an injury case, and ask the person(s) responsibility to do three specific things: 1. Acknowledge the wrongdoing; 2. Apologize for it; and, 3. Make it right so they won't do it again. Without the third prong, it is fake repentance. When someone is truly sorry about doing something wrong to another, that someone has to do all three prongs to be deeply sorry. We are all taught do this as children.
Remember, there are no exceptions to the community safety rules. If there were, they wouldn't called a safety rule. The whole purpose is that there exists no exception to safety. Without lawyers, trial lawyer like me, enforcing these rules, the community simply would not be as safe. We bring meritorious cases into court for the community (jury) to set the standard in terms of these rules, and the resulting verdict stands as the importance for those rules. Imagine a world where everyone follows the rules...this does not have to be dream.
