Oceanside, California, Squad Car Crashes into Gas Station

July 22, 2011, San Diego, Calif -- According to 10 News, an Oceanside squad car crashed into the Mohsen gas station in the 3200 block on Mission Avenue.

The accident took place at about 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 16.

The gas station's owner, Susana Arabshahi, told reporters that another vehicle had switched into the squad car's lane, which caused the police cruiser to swerve in order to avoid hitting the car. When the driver did, he lost control of the cruiser and struck a car at a gas pump, hitting the entrance of the gas station, where it finally came to a stop.

There were no injuries reported and Oceanside police would not confirm any details about the accident.
