SAN DIEGO CA INJURED CHILD | MINOR COMP HEARING: What happens immediately following a Minor's Compromise and Release hearing in California?

Generally, the judge signs a Court Order approving the settlement amount, the net recovery to the minor child, the amount of medical bills to be paid from the gross settlement amount, and the bank where the minor's blocked account will be opened.  Then, the Court Order is used to obtain the settlement check from the insurance company, and finally, the net recovery check to the minor is deposited into the minor's blocked account per the Court Order.
