Minor Rear-End Case Gets Policy Limits For AMA Impairment to Neck

ORANGE COUNTY MAN INJURED IN MINOR REAR-END COLLISION & OBTAINS AN AMA RATING FOR SOFT TISSUE

Man was injured in a minor rear-end accident, but still qualified for an AMA Impairment for Soft Tissue type injuries….

San Diego Car Wreck Attorney Mark C. Blane represented an Orange County man injured when he was rear-ended in a minor rear-end accident.  There was approximately $992.00 damages to the rear of his vehicle, but he still qualified for an AMA 5th Edition Impairment to his cervical spine for soft tissue type injuries.  Mr. Blane used the AMA Impairment as part of the damages and was able to secure policy limits of $15,000.00; he was also able to secure an additional $1,000.00 from the man's under-insured motorist coverage.

Thus, the global settlement came to $16,000.00.  Mr. Blane credits the result to stellar medical documentation and the power of the AMA impairment to supper the policy limits being released for what appeared on the surface to be a minor impact.  Mr. Blane also waived his attorneys fees on this case, and performed the case Pro Bono.
