This video, written and produced by me, in spoof format (although it is surprisingly not far at all from the truth in some cases), navigates the viewer through the eyes of a biased defense doctor. Now, when this happens, the it is the defense lawyer's job to through up as much items that will muddy the plaintiff's burden of proof. Therefore, a biased defense doctor always goes "hand in hand" with a biased defense lawyer. Under California law, you are required to attend an independent medical exam when called by the defense. The problem with it is that it is ripe for potential abuse by the medical doctor who is paid extraordinarily well to write a medical opinion that says the plaintiff is either not injured, or was injured by something else besides the auto accident or injury producing accident.
