Chula Vista Woman Dies in San Diego Area Car Accident

Sadly, a 24-year-old Chula Vista woman was killed in a San Diego auto accident after her car was struck by another vehicle at a street intersection. According to a news report in one of San Diego's major newspapers, The San Diego Union-Tribune, the fatal car accident occurred the morning of January 8, 2011 at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and F Street in Chula Vista, California. The woman was traveling northbound on Fourth Avenue when she collided with a motorist attempting to turn east from the southbound lane of Fourth Avenue. The victim was transported to an area hospital where she later died. An investigation is ongoing. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the victim's family. Everyone should be very careful while driving and always be cautious when going through intersections.
