Duragesic Fentanyl Pain Patch Class Action Lawsuit

The recall of the Duragesic Pain Patches was done by Johnson & Johnson, and Novartis after the discovery of manufacturer defects that may cause the pain patches to leak a toxic fluid. The toxic fluid was identified as Fentanyl, and the leak could lead to fatal overdoeses. All of the Duragestic patches that are set to expire on or before December 2009 are affected by the recall of the product.

An interesting point on this recall is that it is the fifth recall of the Duragesic patch in the last fourteen years on the market; the last time it was recalled was in July 2005, and only after approximately 120 patch users died and their deaths were linked to the pain patch.

Symptoms of the Durgesic Fentanyl Pain Patch:

1. seizures;
2. slow breathing;
3. dizziness;
4. small pupils;
5. coma or loss of consciousness;

The toxic pain fluid can stay in the body over 72 hours; it can also develop dependency or addiction problems to users of the pain patch. My husband Robert L. Davis, Jr. died November 1, 2010. He has used this pain patch I believe. I will need to get the print out from the pharmcy. I don't mean to waste your time, but I did see a commercial on TV regarding this.

Hello

We are currently generating qualified, exclusive paid leads for Fentanyl . I currently don’t have a subscribing San Diego attorney who is positioned to take on these leads. Have you represented these victims before? Would you be interested in taking on these leads? If not, is there a local San Diego attorney you would recommend I speak with?

Sincerely,
Bob Hodge
