ATTENTION Zicam Users – Zicam Class Action Lawsuit

Due to numerous complaints from consumers across the United States it has been alleged that the use of Zicam has been associated with loss of smell injuries. The FDA, in June 2009, announced a “warning recall” on several Zicam products that have been related to loss of smell injuries. The “loss of smell” injuries is known medically as “Anosmia.” This condition, Anosmia, can be very long-lasting, or it may become a permanent medical condtion. The following three Zicam products associated with this recall are all over-the-counter and are named as follows:

1. Zicam Cold Remedy Swabs, Kids Size (no longer sold);
2. Zicam Cold Remedy Nasal Swabs;
3. Zicam Remedy Nasal Gel;

The FDA has reported that approximately 130 cases of Anosmia (loss of smell) are associated with these products; with these reports, some users have claimed they had the loss of smell upon the first dose, and others have reported a loss of smell after using the product more than once, or several times.
